  • Number of shot down four-engined US bombers from German fighters in Europe since November 1942 to July 1, 1943: 459.
    Losses of German fighters in combat against four-engined US bombers until July 1, 1943: 226, of which 134 crews were rescued.

  • Aircraft losses of the British RAF from September 1, 1939 to June 30, 1943: 24,900 planes - German losses in the West and the Mediterranean: 14,757 front line planes.
    Russian Air Force aircraft losses from May 1, 1942 to June 8, 1943: 21,000 planes - German losses in the East: 3,712 aircrafts by enemy impact.
