The strategy game for PC, WW2 Total is now finally available for free download in the latest version 1.2 !
In addition to a series of rule changes and improvements (eg, oil fields and fuel consumption, losses by U-boat raiders in the 'Battle of the Atlantic', conditions for victory by the conquest of a certain number of actual or potential enemy capital cities), there is also a improved graphic representation of the 3d map. More, there is now a compact scenario for Europe and the Atlantic Ocean starting in the summer of 1942, which was the time where World War II was at the climax and the outcome in balance. To do this, the number of possible playable natons had to be reduced to four (Germany, Italy with the Axis-Minors, Russia and the Anglo-Americans with the British and US), but these have now all more game options, units and resources availabe. Moreover, the adaptive AI (Artifical Intelligence) has been improved significantly.
The free strategy game includes the complete scenario from summer 1942 to summer 1945 in Europe, with the Axis-Minors and Russia fully playable.
More free patches and updates with the new multiplayer mode and shooter battles will follow after the summer holidays. |
